Jesper K. Thomsen is a Danish designer, and was born in 1971 in Odense. After finishing education as an engineer of construction and as designer at the School The Danish Design School in Copenhagen, Jesper started his own studio in 2001. Since then the studio had developed to include a staff of four and gained the international acknowledgement for the expertise and the innovation through a vast range of projects in association with some of the world's leading entrepreneurs.

Jesper creates not only products that are nicely aesthetic, but also carry out the functional superiority by technical innovation in his designs.

"I like to think in concepts and stories. To create a solution we have to acknowledge the problem before it makes sense. We like to make design that has a justification whatever it is to help people or the environment‚ at the studio we like to think in strong concepts. Over all we have a multi-faceted approach combining rational problem solving and groundbreaking design", said Jesper about his design philosophy.
